If your domain already uses our DNS, it's very simple :

To make a demo shop with us from your external domain without using our DNS.

 

Create after a subdomain in your cPanel :

https://support.yoorshop.hosting/knowledgebase/1980/How-to-add-an-addon-domain-for-a-new-website-with-unique-domain-subdomain-aliasparked-domains.html

 

Install your website in the dedicated folder OR by Softaculous by choosing the subdomain...

Once you will want to put demo site to live domain, you will have to change files location by File manager of your cPanel from subdomain folder to public_html if domain targeted is the main domain of cPanel account, or the related folder of the addon domain.

If your domain uses external DNS, it's less simple :

You must create a a entry at your domain registrar to create a subdomain

 

To find your IP with us :

Find your IP in "Zone Editor" of your cPanel, entry A, ex: 149.202.212.217

 

Add A entry at your domain registrar (update with correct IP of course):

demo   A   14400   149.200.212.217

 

Create after a subdomain in your cPanel :

Install your website in the dedicated folder OR by Softaculous by choosing the subdomain...

Once you will want to put demo site to live domain, you will have to change files location by File manager of your cPanel from subdomain folder demo to public_html if domain targeted is the main domain of cPanel account, or the related folder of the addon domain, update DNS of the addon domain, finally : wait for DNS propagation....
